Sub Agent - Civils - Highways - Water - Tier 1 Contractor - Leciestershire

Your new company

A leading infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join a major civil engineering project in Leicestershire. Due to a peak in project workload, they require additional management support on a 6-month contract basis. The project encompasses a range of infrastructure work and will offer opportunities for overtime through extended hours, weekend shifts and occasional night work.


Your new role

As Sub Agent, you will support the successful delivery of the project by managing sections of work, coordinating site operations and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements. You will work closely with Site Agents, engineers and operational teams while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and performance throughout the project life cycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day delivery of allocated work packages

  • Coordinating subcontractors, labour, plant and materials

  • Supporting project planning and programme delivery

  • Monitoring health, safety, environmental and quality standards

  • Reviewing and implementing RAMS and construction documentation

  • Assisting with progress reporting and project controls

  • Liaising with operational and engineering teams to resolve site issues

  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to specification

What you'll need to succeed

  • CSCS Card (Essential)

  • SMSTS (Essential)

  • First Aid at Work (Essential)

  • Previous experience working as a Sub Agent on highways, civil engineering, infrastructure or water projects

  • Strong understanding of site management and project delivery processes
