We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic and committed pastoral professional keen to develop their career at Broadway Academy. The Team
The Academy has a very strong pastoral system and team, which has been recognised by many external bodies, including the Minister of Police and the PCC. Each SSA works with a dedicated Student Support Manager. The post will provide an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to make a real difference to our students.

The Role
You will work as part of a team with the Student Support Manager to support pastoral and teaching staff in maintaining high standards of behaviour, attendance and progress. You will be responsible for the management of student attendance, care, support and guidance. You will also be actively involved in the development and implementation of innovative strategies to ensure that our students achieve their full potential whilst at Broadway Academy.

You will:
* Set high expectations for students’ behaviour and maintain a good standard of discipline
* Promote positive attitudes to learning through contact with students and parents
* Provide levels of individual pastoral support to students including those with special needs as directed
* Be committed to restorative practice
* Maintain accurate logs, records and complete referrals
