As a Student Office Administrator, you will support the delivery of taught programmes, ensuring smooth day-to-day administration across coursework, exams, and student services. You’ll manage coursework processes via systems such as Blackboard, including submissions, marking tracking, and grade recording, while also supporting exam administration and maintaining accurate student records.
You will act as a key point of contact for students, staff, and visitors, handling queries and providing guidance on academic processes. The role also involves coordinating placements and exchange programmes, managing relationships with external partners, and supporting initiatives such as UROP, Erasmus, and visiting students. In addition, you’ll contribute to committee administration, including organising meetings and taking minutes, while continuously looking to improve systems and processes.

The environment is fast-paced, student-focused, and works closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality education programmes.
Your new role
As a Student Office Administrator, you will support the delivery of taught programmes, ensuring smooth day-to-day administration across coursework, exams, and student services. You’ll manage coursework processes via systems such as Blackboard, including submissions, marking tracking, and grade recording, while also supporting exam administration and maintaining accurate student records.

What you'll need to succeed
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within Higher Education or a similar environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Experience working with databases and systems (e.g. student records or virtual learning environments)
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- High attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
