Structural Engineer, Senior Structural Engineer, Design Engineer

Our client is a well-established and growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with a strong reputation across Northern Ireland and Ireland. Your new role
As a Structural Engineer, you will be involved in the design and delivery of a variety of building structures from concept through to construction. Working closely with senior engineers and project teams, your responsibilities will include:
- Structural analysis and design using a range of materials including steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
- Preparation of calculations, technical reports and design drawings.
- Liaising with clients, architects, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Conducting site visits and inspections as required.
- Supporting the delivery of projects to programme and budget.
- Assisting with the mentoring of graduate engineers where appropriate.
What you'll need to succeed
Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Experience working within a consulting engineering environment.
Proficiency in structural design software such as MasterSeries, Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, ETABS or similar.
Knowledge of relevant UK and Irish design standards.
Strong communication and project coordination skills.
Progression towards Chartership (IStructE or ICE) would be advantageous.
