Requirement for a Stores Team Leader in Newtownabbey

Your new company

You will be joining a well‑established and reputable manufacturing organisation based in Monkstown. Known for its strong operational standards and commitment to continuous improvement, this business offers a stable working environment where teamwork, efficiency, and high‑quality output are central to daily operations. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Stores Team Leader to strengthen their Warehouse function.

Your new role

As the Stores Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials throughout the site. You will oversee the coordination of goods in/out, maintain accurate stock levels, and ensure materials are available to support Assembly and Production teams. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include managing deliveries, completing stock transactions on the ERP system, resolving material shortages, supporting cross‑functional departments, and maintaining a safe and well‑organised stores environment. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role where your accuracy, organisation, and communication skills will be essential.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful, you will have previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment, along with a strong understanding of inventory control and material flow. You will be confident working with ERP/MRP systems, capable of prioritising workload, and comfortable working collaboratively with Production, Quality, Planning, and Procurement teams. A high level of attention to detail, strong problem‑solving ability, and a practical, hands‑on approach are key. Experience within engineering or materials handling would be beneficial but is not essential.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a competitive hourly rate of £15.28 per hour and benefit from excellent working hours: Monday to Friday, 6am–3pm, with an early finish at 12pm every Friday. You will join a supportive and forward‑thinking team where your contribution directly supports operational performance. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a well‑structured and growing organisation, with the chance to make a real impact.
