Storesperson/ Shovel Driver- -Edinburgh (Ormiston)- Salary DOE

They have a new opportunity for a storesperson to join a very successful business at their Ormiston site on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

Your new role

Managing the storage and swift turnaround of lorries in and out of the stores. Loading & unloading products in and out of store. Check shovels for anything needing repair or fluids topped up, keep them clean and in good working order – defect reporting. Check if external trailers coming into stores are clean and covered before loading. Keep store areas clean and tidy, adhering to TASCC assurance standards. Sampling and temperature checking/monitoring of products. General maintenance of plant and machinery. Weighbridge duties: weighing vehicles in and out of store. Operate loading shovels in a safe manner, avoid collisions with other machinery, lorries or people, be aware of your surroundings.

What you'll need to succeed

Telehander / large machinery driving experience and ability to work at heights.
