Hays Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced Stonemason to join our client’s team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to work on a variety of projects, ranging from restoration to new builds.

Your new role

  • Cutting, shaping, and dressing stone for construction and restoration projects.
  • Repairing and maintaining stone structures and monuments.
  • Collaborating with architects and construction teams to ensure precision and quality.
  • Using hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience as a Stonemason.
  • Strong knowledge of stone types and their properties.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in stonemasonry (preferred).
