Steel Fixers Required on Large Commercial Project
Your new company
We are currently recruiting experienced Steel Fixers for a 5-week contract in Penrith.
This role will involve working on a shallow ground beam system, assembling and fixing reinforcement steel in accordance with detailed engineering drawings and bar schedules for a large contractor.
Your new role
- Fixing and assembling steel reinforcement cages
- Using stainless steel tie bars to secure cages into position
- Working on a shallow ground beam (1000 x 500 x 13,600mm)
- Reading and following foundation drawings and bar bending schedules
- Ensuring all work meets required engineering and safety standards
- Collaborating with site managers and other trades on-site
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Steel Fixer / Rebar Fixer
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and bar schedules
- Experience working on RC structures or ground beams
- Valid CSCS Card
