Your new role

You'll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity across multiple accounts and supporting wider reporting and audit activities.
What you'll need to succeed
Salary: £24.04 p/h £41,272 annually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and posting of monthly journals to maintain the accuracy of multiple debt balances
- Reconciliation and maintenance of multiple manual debt ledgers
- Liaison with relevant stakeholders to investigate and clearly reconcile items.
- Reconciliation of general ledger account codes and balance sheet reconciliations
- Provide financial information as input for Annual Report and Accounts
- General accountancy duties to support the production of the Work & Health and Operational Delivery Group Resource Accounts and audit activities
What We're Looking For:
- Strong Excel skills – this is a spreadsheet-heavy role
- Excellent attention to detail and quality of work
- Comfortable working solo with limited interaction
- Confident in presenting and liaising with stakeholders
- Ability to hit the ground running – minimal training provided
- Experience in debt reconciliation and journal posting
- Self-motivated and capable of deciphering complex financial content
- Must be a professionally qualified accountant and have at least one year's experience gained in the last five years, in a finance-related environment.
Work Pattern:
- Hybrid: 2 days in-office (Monday & Tuesday), remainder remote
- 37 days annual leave
- 37 hours per week
