Solicitor – Public Procurement

Your new company

A leading national law firm is looking to recruit a junior lawyer (NQ–2 PQE) to join its growing Public Procurement team in London.

Your new role

This is a varied and intellectually stimulating role, offering exposure to both public procurement and general commercial contracts work. You’ll advise a mix of public sector bodies and private clients on:
  • UK public procurement regulations and compliance
  • Competitive tendering processes and procurement challenges
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including supply, services, and framework agreements
  • Supporting clients across sectors such as infrastructure, health, transport, and energy

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales ideally with 2 years PQE (guidelines only).
  • Strong academic background and excellent drafting skills
  • Interest in public law, procurement, and commercial contracts
  • Experience in either procurement or commercial contracts (during training or post-qualification) is desirable.
