Exciting Solicitor Opportunity in Specialist Liability – Remote

Your new firm
Our client is a leading national law firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services across a range of specialist sectors. With offices across the UK and a commitment to flexible working, they offer the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cases while enjoying a supportive and inclusive culture. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a talented Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (3–5 years PQE) to join their highly regarded Specialist Liability team.

Your new role
You will be joining a dynamic and fast-growing team specialising in complex and sensitive claims, including child abuse litigation, inquests, and claims against social services. The team acts for a wide range of public and private sector clients, including local authorities, healthcare providers, educational institutions, and insurers.
This is a varied and intellectually stimulating role, involving both pre-litigated and litigated matters. You will advise clients on high-profile and often sensitive issues, prepare defences, attend inquests, and support senior lawyers on complex cases. The role offers a high level of responsibility and the opportunity to work closely with some of the leading practitioners in this field.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will be a bright and enthusiastic lawyer with a genuine interest in Specialist Liability work. Experience in abuse litigation and inquests is highly desirable, along with a strong track record of delivering excellent client service. You should be confident handling complex cases, able to work both independently and collaboratively, and demonstrate empathy and commercial awareness when advising clients.
Experience of advising on Human Rights Act claims, and a clean driving licence would be advantageous.

What you’ll get in return
You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team that values professional development and offers excellent training. The firm promotes a healthy work-life balance with flexible and hybrid working options available. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a specialist area of law, with exposure to high-quality work and a clear path for progression.

What you need to do now
If you’re interested in this role or would like more information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
If this job isn’t quite right for you, but you’re exploring new opportunities, we’d be happy to have a confidential conversation about your career.
We would expect a lawyer with the given PQE to have gained the level of experience required, but this does not preclude applications from those with more or less PQE.
