Research Software Engineer - Pioneering technology team - Manchester/Hybrid - £36,000-£48,000

As our Research Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:-

  • Introducing new or utilising existing technology in a new way to benefit research
  • Advising on and demonstrating technology capabilities
  • Performing both routine and complex systems maintenance
  • Designing and delivering bespoke technology for research purposes
  • Investigating replacement and new technology for AI and Machine learning

If you possess a combination of the following skills, then LETS TALK!

  • Knowledge of Python, R or C++ programming
  • Familiar with data analytics, analysis and machine learning models
  • Previous experience in a research environment is highly advantageous but not essential
  • Designing software solutions
  • Writing and executing tests
  • Linux
