Software Development Manager
This is an opportunity to lead a talented team of developers as part of the organisation’s digital transformation. You’ll play a role in designing and delivering software that enhances public services, streamlines operations, and drives innovation across the organisation.
Your new role
As the Software Development Manager, you’ll be both a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader. You’ll guide your team of four through complex projects, champion best practices, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions that meet the needs of the organisation.

What you’ll need to succeed
- Experience/ambition to lead, mentor, and inspire a team of developers
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from concept to deployment
- Understand best practices with software design, architecture, and coding
- Collaborate with project managers to deliver projects on time
- Drive innovation through automation, performance optimisation, and continuous improvement
- Manage service transitions and support ITIL process improvements.
- Proven experience in .NET/.NET 5+, C#, Microsoft Azure, APIs, and Power Platform
- Full Stack understanding, front end and back end of web applications
