Social work Job - (Adults) Community team in Solihull, paying up to £32.00 ph

Your new company

Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council are looking to recruit 2 experienced social workers to join their Community team.


Your new role

Solihull Council are looking for a qualified social worker who is enthusiastic and passionate about changing the lives of people with care and support needs, through the promotion of wellbeing and choice, making a real difference whilst enabling adults and young people to increase their independence and have fulfilling lives, free from harm and abuse.
As a qualified social worker, you will be working within strong established community teams undertaking caseloads with citizens to identify needs and outcomes in the community, completing reviews and attending and participating in case discussions. You will deliver an enhanced customer experience that promotes the well-being of vulnerable adults to enable them to live independently for longer, supporting them in retaining and regaining their skills and confidence.

This role is 37hrs per week with remote working but you will be required to attend office 1 day per week.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful you will require: Social Work qualification (BA Social Work, CQSW, DipSW, CSS or CCETSW approved equivalent).
• Current professional registration with Social Work England
• minimum of 1 years experience working within adults Social Work
