Site Supervisor - Tier 1 Contractor - Highways - West Midlands - Contract - Civils
Your new company
A leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to support delivery of a major new highways scheme in the West Midlands. This is a significant long‑term programme of roadworks and structures, offering an excellent opportunity to work within a high‑performing project team on a flagship infrastructure development.
Your new role
As Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the Site Agent and Project Manager to ensure the successful, safe and efficient delivery of all on‑site activities.
Completing weekly plant returns
Producing a photographic record of materials received
Maintaining site sheets and weekly cost spreadsheets
Managing and verifying site delivery tickets
Promoting best practice and ensuring compliance with all company procedures
Driving a defect‑free and snag‑free approach to work delivery
Identifying and highlighting value engineering opportunities
Ensuring full environmental compliance across all works
Leading on Near Miss reporting
Ensuring all monthly HSE returns are completed
Supporting a strong safety culture across site operations
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor within highways or civil engineering
- Strong understanding of site safety, quality and compliance processes
- Ability to maintain accurate records and manage key site documentation
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to best practice and continuous improvement
