Small Works Site Supervisor - Contracting - Tier 1 - Northampton - Civils

A leading UK infrastructure and highways services provider is seeking a Small Works Site Supervisor to support ongoing maintenance operations across a live highway network. This role sits within a long-term maintenance framework and offers consistent, secure work on essential infrastructure.


Your new role

As Small Works Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements. Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising gangs carrying out minor highways maintenance works

  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety, method statements and risk assessments

  • Coordinating traffic management in line with Chapter 8 requirements

  • Liaising with engineers, subcontractors and the client

  • Completing site paperwork, inspections and daily reports

  • Ensuring quality standards and productivity targets are met


What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience supervising highways maintenance or small works

  • NRSWA Supervisor accreditation

  • SMSTS or SSSTS

  • Full UK driving licence
