A leading UK infrastructure and highways services provider is seeking a Small Works Site Supervisor to support ongoing maintenance operations across a live highway network. This role sits within a long-term maintenance framework and offers consistent, secure work on essential infrastructure.
Your new role
As Small Works Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements. Responsibilities include:
Supervising gangs carrying out minor highways maintenance works
Ensuring compliance with health & safety, method statements and risk assessments
Coordinating traffic management in line with Chapter 8 requirements
Liaising with engineers, subcontractors and the client
Completing site paperwork, inspections and daily reports
Ensuring quality standards and productivity targets are met
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience supervising highways maintenance or small works
NRSWA Supervisor accreditation
SMSTS or SSSTS
Full UK driving licence
