Multi-Skilled Supervisor Job - Stafforsdshire - £40,000 Plus Van and Bonus

The Opportunity
My client is seeking a multi-skilled trades professional with a strong carpentry background to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced joiner who can also turn their hand to other trades, looking to step into a role that combines hands-on work with leadership responsibilities. Sites are typically within 1–2 hours of the office, with occasional overnight stays required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the company’s values and brand professionally on-site.
  • Carry out carpentry and joinery work to a high standard.
  • Undertake multi-trade tasks, including:
  • Partitioning and stud wall installation
  • Suspended ceiling installation
  • Basic plastering and patch repairs
  • Minor plumbing and electrical adjustments (non-certified)
  • Office furniture assembly and installation
  • Supervise site operatives and subcontractors, ensuring quality and safety.
  • Liaise with the Contracts Manager and provide daily progress updates.
  • Conduct pre-start site surveys and report findings.
  • Ensure projects run on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Maintain health & safety compliance and site tidiness.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and manage feedback.


Skills & Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry (or equivalent).
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid training (can be provided).
  • Proven carpentry skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience across multiple trades (e.g., partitioning, ceilings, basic plumbing/electrical, decorating).
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Positive, solutions-focused mindset.
