Construction Site Manager (Commercial Build Experience)

Job Title: Site Manager
Location:East Anglia (travel required)
Salary:Negotiable
Type:Permanent, Full-time
Benefits: £5,000 car allowance, paid mileage, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, pension

Role Overview:We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead construction projects across East Anglia. You’ll be responsible for managing site operations from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all on-site construction activities
  • Manage subcontractors, site teams, and logistics
  • Ensure compliance with H&S, quality, and building regulations
  • Handle snagging, defects, and project documentation
  • Liaise with clients, design teams, and senior management
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports
  • Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety checks
Requirements:
  • SMSTS or SSSTS certified
  • 5–10 years’ site management experience
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and regulations
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
  • CSCS card and First Aid at Work certificate
  • Able to read drawings, develop programmes, and use IT systems
