Your new company

You’ll be joining a leading main contractor delivering groundworks packages across Cheshire. The team operates on fast‑paced civil programmes with strong on‑site support and clear direction from management and engineering staff.

Your new role

You will support the Senior Site Manager and Site Engineer on a live groundworks scheme for an initial 4–5-week period. Daily responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with drainage, piling, ducting, kerbing and slab work

  • Coordinating labour, plant and materials as instructed
  • Maintaining safe working practices and reporting issues promptly
  • Helping drive progress to meet programme targets

What you'll need to succeed

  • Solid groundwork background: drainage, piling, slabs, ducting, concrete
  • Experience supporting management and engineering teams on civil projects
  • CSCS essential; additional civil tickets beneficial.
  • Reliable, proactive and confident working within a busy site environment

What you'll get in return

  • 4–5 weeks of secured work
  • Competitive day rate paid weekly
  • Supportive senior team and clear programme
  • Local Cheshire project with minimal travel
