Site Manager – Construction - Negotiable Salary

Your new company

A growing contractor operating across East Anglia, London and the Midlands, working on a variety of projects, from New Build to Refurbishments with projects including Schools and Hospitals up to £15m.

Your new role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction of a new-build industrial self-storage facility in Ashford. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

  • Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, and budget adherence.
  • Maintain accurate site records and reporting to the Project Manager.
  • Resolve any on-site issues promptly and effectively.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on industrial or commercial new-build projects.

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and health & safety standards.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • SMSTS certification and CSCS card required.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
