Your new role

I am seeking an experienced and driven Freelance Site Manager to oversee residential construction projects across Cumbria. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable housebuilder known for delivering high-quality, affordable homes across the North of England.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff to maintain smooth workflow.

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.

Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.

Liaise with clients, local authorities, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and progress reporting.

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential construction (ideally with volume housebuilding).

SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certifications.

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within Cumbria.
