Site Manager - Main Contractor - AMP8 United Utilities - Strong Project Pipeline

Your new role :

As a Site Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of clean and wastewater infrastructure projects. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring health & safety compliance, coordinating subcontractors, and driving programme delivery to meet key project milestones.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing site activities and ensuring compliance with HSEQ standards
  • Managing labour, plant, and materials on site
  • Liaising with clients, engineers, and project teams
  • Ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
  • Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress

What you'll need to succeed :

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within the Water or Utilities sector
  • Strong understanding of clean and wastewater infrastructure
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Experience working on framework projects (AMP6/7/8 desirable)
