Hays Senior Finance are working with a leading manufacturer to appoint a Site Financial Controller.

Your new role

You will lead the site's financial operations and planning, including producing accurate financial statements, managing budgets, forecasts, and cost analysis, and driving performance improvements. You will partner with site leadership, ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations, and lead a local finance team. You will be responsible for group reporting and statutory returns, liaising with internal and external audit teams, SOX, costing, extensive business partnering with a wide range of stakeholders in group functions, manufacturing and internationally.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need strong analytical skills, ERP experience (e.g., SAP), and advanced Excel proficiency is essential. You will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA), ideally degree-educated and be used to leading a team. You will likely be working in manufacturing/engineering within a large division or group setting and be used to corporate reporting. You will have first-class business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
