Site Engineer Cumbria

Your new company
You’ll be joining a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering groundworks and infrastructure packages across Cumbria. With a strong pipeline of work in the region, they’re expanding their site teams to support new build and industrial schemes.

Your new role
As Site Engineer, you’ll be responsible for setting out, quality assurance, and supporting the delivery of groundworks packages including drainage, foundations, concrete slabs, and external works. You’ll work closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure technical accuracy and smooth site operations.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Experience in groundworks or civils projects
  • Proficiency in setting out using Leica or Trimble equipment
  • Strong understanding of QA procedures, RAMS, and temporary works
  • CSCS card required; SSSTS and First Aid desirable
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with site teams
