Site Agent - Permanent - Tier 1 Contractor - Severn Trent Water AMP8 Framework - Worcester - Civil Engineering

Your new company

Our client, a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor operating in the water industry, is seeking a Site Agent to join their delivery team. This established and multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector, delivering projects between £1m-£15m directly for Severn Trent Water, and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking for a Site Agent to join their team.

This is a full-time permanent position based in the Worcestershire and Gloucestershire areas.

Your new role

As Site Agent, your responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with CDM regulations and compliance with company safe working practices
  • Assisting in the preparation of construction programmes as well as preparing method statements, action plans and risk assessments
  • Checking site work to ensure compliance with the specifications and drawings
  • Ensuring required quality records are maintained
  • Assisting in the preparation of construction completion documentation
  • Ensuring works are constructed to expected quality in line with the specification.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you must have:
  • Experience in civil works within the water (clean and/or waste) industry in a site management or supervisory capacity
  • Ability to manage construction activities and coordinate subcontractors
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid
  • Full UK driving licence.
