HSEQ Advisor / Manager - Civil Engineering Contractor - Co. Tyrone

Your new company

Your new company is a family run civils contractor based in Co. Tyrone with over 40 years’ experience and pride themselves on delivering successful projects across NI. They have a strong pipeline of work across the civil sector including, sports pitches, NIE works / electric charging ports, Irish Water schemes and road planning. Work will be spread across different sites primarily across Belfast, Mid-Ulster and the West of the province.

Your new role

Your new employer is looking for a Health and Safety officer to join their ranks and help them deliver on upcoming projects. As the Health and Safety officer you will be responsible for overseeing health, safety, environmental & quality policies, procedures and compliance across the company.

You will be tasked with carrying out inspections & audits, accident investigation, incident reporting and preparation of construction phase health and safety plans. You will be responsible for advising staff on all HSE matters and ensuring company health and safety is implemented and enforced.

Part-time hours will also be considered.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need a relevant degree or a NEBOSH qualification. Previous experience within a Health and Safety, HSEQ or SHEQ role will be required and experience within the construction industry is also required (ideally civil engineering or utilities).
