Sheltered Housing Officer (Retirement Living) - Temp - 35 hours per week
We're looking to recruit a Sheltered Housing Officer on a 37-hour per week temporary contract, where you'll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality housing management services within a Retirement Living Scheme for over 55s.
Your new role
Conduct routine health, safety and compliance checks, and ensure audits have been completed
Manage voids, lettings, sign-ups and carry out viewings
Identify any repair issues, raise orders and manage reactive repairs by coordinating contractors.
Manage rent accounts and support customers in arrears by offering tenancy sustainment advice
Deal with any low level anti-social behaviour or breaches of tenancy
Update risk assessments and identify any safeguarding concerns
Complete daily welfare checks
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in a housing/tenancy management role with a good understanding of housing legislation and best practice
An understanding of welfare benefits
Experience of managing low level anti-social behaviour and neighbour disputes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
