We're seeking a compassionate and proactive Sheltered Housing Officer to support our local social housing client across two of their sheltered schemes in South Liverpool.

You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality housing management services that focus on resident wellbeing, tenancy sustainment and scheme compliance.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Daily welfare checks and responding to any emergency calls

• Assist with viewings, lettings, sign-ups and inductions for new tenants

• Maintain and update support plans and risk assessments

• Conduct regular health and safety checks to ensure scheme compliance, following up on any actions or identified issues

• Provide tenancy sustainment advice, including support for low-level arrears

• Handle general enquiries and complaints from residents and visitors

• Assist with referrals for aids, adaptations and assistive technology

• Ensure the scheme remains safe, secure and a welcoming environment

• Promote resident engagement and social inclusion through activities

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in social housing, ideally with older or vulnerable residents

• Strong understanding of housing legislation and best practice

• Skilled in completing assessments and developing support plans

• Confident in crisis management and risk mitigation

• Knowledge of welfare benefits and budgeting support

• Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
