Service Manager - Young People Accommodation - £32,643 per annum – Permanent Vacancy
Your new company
You will be joining a respected, values‑led organisation that provides high‑quality supported accommodation for young people across North Warwickshire. The organisation is committed to creating safe, stable and nurturing environments where young people can build independence, develop life skills, and move towards positive long‑term outcomes. Their services include 24‑hour supported accommodation, young parent provision and dispersed accommodation, all delivered in line with Ofsted Supported Accommodation Regulations (2023).
Your new role
- Managing and supervising staff, ensuring regular support, supervision and development opportunities.
- Overseeing support planning, risk assessments and safeguarding processes.
- Building strong partnerships with external agencies, including Social Care, the Police and specialist support services.
- Ensuring compliance with service specifications, KPIs, Ofsted requirements and internal policies.
- Monitoring accommodation standards, voids, repairs, rent processes and overall housing management.
- Producing accurate performance reports and data for commissioners and senior leadership.
- Maintaining a focus on quality, continuous improvement and positive outcomes for young people.
- Participating in an on‑call rota to support 24‑hour services.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience managing staff within a care, support or housing setting.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and trauma‑informed practice.
- Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs and understanding diverse community needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships.
- Strong organisational skills, the ability to work on your own initiative and confidently manage change.
- A full driving licence and the ability to work flexibly as required.
