With offices across the North West and a growing team of expert tax and business advisory professionals, they blend deep technical knowledge with personality and drive. The firm is known for delivering tailored, jargon-free advice that helps clients, ranging from owner-managed businesses to high-net-worth individuals, make confident decisions and thrive.

Your new role

As a Senior Tax Advisory Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of both corporate and private client tax advice, taking ownership of high-value advisory projects. You will:
  • Provide strategic tax planning and support for corporate clients, including transaction structuring, R&D relief, patent box, and exit planning
  • Offer personal tax advice to business owners, trustees, and high-net-worth individuals, covering estates, capital gains, and succession planning
  • Lead and coordinate project delivery end-to-end, managing scope, budgeting, and stakeholder expectations
  • Build and develop strong relationships with clients and internal teams, including accountants, auditors, and digital advisory colleagues
  • Mentor and manage junior tax staff, supporting career development and technical growth
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, collaborating on proposals and thought leadership

What you'll need to succeed

  • Professional qualification (CTA, ACA/ACCA with tax experience)
  • Strong technical expertise in both corporate and personal tax advisory
  • Proven background in leading complex advisory projects for corporate and private clients
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills—you’re proactive, personable, and commercially aware
  • Leadership skills with demonstrable experience mentoring and developing junior staff
  • A blend of strategic insight and hands-on delivery, confident managing multiple priorities

What you'll get in return

We offer a supportive, dynamic working environment where your input truly matters:
  • Competitive salary with performance-related bonus
  • Hybrid working policy for work–life balance
  • 27 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays) and birthday leave
  • Pension with employer contributions, life assurance, health cash plan, EAP, and paid professional subscriptions
  • Regular social events, team days, and wellbeing initiatives
  • Structured career development, including access to training and mentoring
