Seeking a Chartered Valuation Surveyor to join a national real estate consultancy.
Hays Property and Surveying are seeking a Chartered Valuation Surveyor to join a national real estate consultancy based in Southampton.
The company is a leading national real estate consultancy with a strong market presence across the South Coast Region. Their Southampton Valuation Team provide expert advice and undertake valuation advisory services on behalf of high street banks, private lenders, financial institutions and investment clients. The team now has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Surveyor or Associate Director to join the business and contribute to its ongoing growth and success.The role will be based in their Southampton office, with an opportunity to work from home part of the week.
Your new role
As a Senior Surveyor / Associate Director, you will be responsible for undertaking commercial property valuations for a variety of purposes and on behalf of an established portfolio of clients. This will include valuations for loan security, investment and financial reporting. Your role will offer you with an opportunity to work on varied and high-profile instructions, providing expert advice that helps shape investment decisions.
Key responsibilities –
Undertake accurate commercial property valuations for a variety of purposes.
Prepare timely valuation reports in accordance with RICS standards.
Analyse market data and collate comparable evidence.
Manage and develop client relationships.
Stay up to date with market trends, regulatory changes and sector performance.
Work closely and collaborate with other colleagues and departments.
What you'll need to succeed
- MRICS qualified
- Proven experience in undertaking commercial property valuations for a variety of purposes, including loan security.
- Proficient understanding of valuation methodologies and preparing reports in accordance with RICS standards.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Motivated and eager for progression.
