Your new role
Y ou will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end supply chain processes for pharmaceutical products. Your responsibilities will include developing accurate demand forecasts, overseeing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery to customers across the globe. You will manage relationships with Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs), coordinate with suppliers, and work closely with internal teams such as production, procurement, sales, and marketing. In this role, you’ll also be expected to identify opportunities for process improvement, maintain compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, and provide insightful reporting to support strategic decision-making.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification such as APICS or CIPS would also be advantageous. You should have at least five years of experience in supply chain planning within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a strong track record of managing global supply chains and CMOs. Proficiency in ERP systems – particularly SAP – is essential, along with advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities. A solid understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards, combined with excellent collaboration and communication skills, will be key to thriving in this position.
