Your new role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Steel Detailer to join the dynamic team. This is a key role in our detailing department, responsible for producing accurate and high-quality steel fabrication drawings using industry-standard software.

Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed fabrication and erection drawings for structural steel projects
Interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to ensure design accuracy
Conduct model reviews and clash detection using 3D modelling tools
Mentor junior detailers and contribute to process improvements

What you'll need to succeed

To be qualified, the candidate must possess the following:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in steel detailing
Proficiency in Tekla Structures (or similar 3D modelling software)
Strong understanding of steel fabrication and erection processes
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
