Is a growing and innovative organisation based in the UK who have a strong reputation for delivering exceptional service, they are continuing to expand and are seeking an experienced Senior Recovery Specialist to join their team based in Warrington.
Your new role
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of recovery cases, ensuring outstanding payments are collected efficiently and effectively.
Duties- Managing and progressing outstanding recovery cases to maximise payment recovery.
- Investigating delayed payments and identifying the root causes preventing settlement.
- Liaising with insurers, customers and internal departments to resolve queries and disputes.
- Taking ownership of cases from initial investigation through to successful resolution.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating case management systems.
- Prioritising workloads to ensure recovery targets and service standards are achieved.
- Escalating complex issues where required whilst identifying practical resolutions.
- Monitoring recovery trends and highlighting potential risks or areas for improvement.
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Supporting wider departmental objectives and operational requirements as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience with claim handling, recoveries or dispute resolution.
- Proven experience managing payment queries.
- Strong investigation and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues independently.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A resilient, tenacious and proactive approach to managing workloads and achieving results.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
