As Senior R&D Design Engineer, you will lead the design and development of new and existing products from concept through to production. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will drive engineering solutions that enhance performance, reliability and manufacturability.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading R&D design projects from initial concept through prototyping, testing and final release
Developing innovative mechanical and structural solutions using advanced 3D CAD
Conducting detailed engineering analysis, calculations and design validation
Collaborating with manufacturing, quality and service teams to ensure robust product delivery
Managing design reviews, documentation and engineering change processes
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the product range
Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers
Liaising with suppliers and customers to refine specifications and resolve technical challenges

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
Significant experience in R&D, product development or heavy equipment design
Strong 3D CAD capability (SolidWorks or similar)
Proven ability to lead complex engineering projects
Excellent problem‑solving, communication and technical reporting skills
A proactive, innovative mindset with a passion for engineering excellence
