Your new company

Hays are working in partnership with a Portadown-based main contractor/developer. This family-owned business has been involved in prestigious local projects and built an excellent reputation for its reliable and innovative approach to construction. Due to continued growth, they now require a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial Team.

Your new role

A Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial delivery of a range of building, fit out and FM projects across Northern Ireland. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will work closely with the Operational Team to deliver projects within budget and inline with the client's expectations.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a construction-related discipline and have a min 10 years' experience with a main contractor. Strong negotiation skills are essential, as you will negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors and the client's QS Team. All projects are NI-based, so no UK travel is required.
