Your new company

Hays is working closely with an established Newry-based main contractor in their recruitment of a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Estimator. This privately owned contractor works across a range of sectors including education, conservation, residential, healthcare and commercial. Due to continued growth, they now require a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join the business.

Your new role

Reporting directly to the MD, you will have full responsibility for the commercial performance of the business. You will manage a Junior Quantity Surveyor, who will assist you in overseeing all tendering and post-contract duties. This role is ideally suited to someone who wishes to have an influence at board level and work across a range of roles in a small contracting business.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying and a min 10 years' experience in the industry. You will have a proven track record of working for a main contractor in the delivery of a range of building projects. You will be contractually proficient and work closely with the MD in the delivery of all projects.
