As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of construction schemes across the East, ensuring commercial and contractual control from pre-construction through to final account. You’ll work closely with project teams, clients, and supply chain partners to drive value, manage risk, and ensure financial performance.
Key Duties:
Lead commercial management of construction projects from inception to completion
Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
Oversee subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and management
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior commercial staff
Collaborate with operational teams to ensure project delivery aligns with commercial targets
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveying role on schemes in excess of £30m
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively
