Your new role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering a portfolio of infrastructure projects within a framework environment. You will take ownership of significant work packages, providing full commercial management from procurement through to final account.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the commercial performance of multiple projects or packages

  • Leading subcontract procurement and managing supply chain relationships

  • Producing and presenting CVRs, forecasts (EAC/ETC), and commercial reports

  • Administering NEC contracts, including compensation events and change control

  • Managing and mentoring junior Quantity Surveyors

  • Working closely with operational teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

  • Maintaining strong client relationships and supporting commercial strategy
    (This is a hybrid role with a mix of office and working from home.)


What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience operating as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a Tier 1 or major contractor environment

  • Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts (essential)

  • Experience managing large-scale infrastructure or civils packages

  • Demonstrable experience producing CVRs, forecasts, and managing project finances

  • Experience managing or mentoring junior commercial staff

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent)
    (Experience within water, utilities, or regulated frameworks is highly advantageous)
