Interim Senior Procurement Officer – London, 2 days a week in the office
Your new role
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Procurement Officer to lead procurement projects across a variety of categories including IT, communications and marketing, consultancy, professional services, and facilities management. You’ll be a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the organisation, delivering procurement strategies, managing tenders, and ensuring compliance with public sector regulations. This is a hands-on role where your insights and analysis will directly influence decision-making at senior levels.
Role Duties
Lead procurement projects (RfQs and RfPs) from £30k up to £214k
Draft tender documents and run events via the e-procurement tool (Jaggaer)
Maintain and improve procurement systems
Provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders and senior managers
Analyse spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers
Produce management information reports for senior leaders and the Board
Maintain procurement records, contract registers, and operational tools
Keep procurement content on intranet/internet up to date
Stay current with evolving procurement legislation and best practices
What you'll get in return
This a 12 month interim assignment paying between £350 and £400 per day
