What you will be doing:
As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will lead the delivery of NHG’s procurement programme, ensuring it supports our corporate strategy and delivers real, measurable outcomes. You will oversee complex and high‑value procurements, manage risk effectively, and ensure compliance across all activity.
You will also lead and develop a team of procurement professionals, creating a high‑performing, customer‑focused service that is trusted across the organisation. Your leadership will help embed procurement as a confident, progressive and value‑led function.
What you will bring:
You will be an experienced procurement professional with a strong background in the public sector, comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels. You will bring a collaborative leadership style and the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
You will also bring:
- MCIPS
- Extensive experience delivering complex and above‑threshold procurements.
- Strong knowledge of public procurement legislation and best practice
- Proven experience of leading and developing teams.
- A values‑led approach aligned with compassion, inclusion and accountability.
