Senior Process Design Engineer - Water & Wastewater Projects - Newry

Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of process engineers in the design and delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Prepare and oversee preliminary and detailed design documents, engineering specifications, and calculations.
- Produce optioneering reports and project documentation in line with company standards.
- Evaluate hydraulic designs and apply expertise in water and wastewater treatment processes.
- Coordinate and schedule project engineers to ensure timely tender submissions and process design delivery.
- Maintain communication with civil, electrical, mechanical, and automation teams to develop turnkey solutions.
- Review supplier information for compliance with project requirements and client standards.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality systems, including acting as Principal Designer where required.
- Support business development by demonstrating technical competence and quality assurance.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to identify new engineering opportunities.
What you'll need to succeed - Degree-qualified in environmental, chemical, or process engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in municipal water/wastewater treatment.
- Strong data analysis and technical problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership ability with experience managing teams and workloads to meet time, cost, and quality objectives.
- Proficient in using proprietary software for engineering solutions.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
