One of Northern Ireland's largest and most established Building & Civil Engineering companies is currently recruiting for a Senior Planner to work within their Civils Division.

This is a site based role where you will be working on a £140 + million project and will be required to be on site in Ireland 4 days a week with a hybrid working from home model 1 day a week.

This is an exciting new role for any candidate who has experience as a Civil Planner to join a large team and avail of excellent working conditions.
You will join the company on a new project that will be valued at circa £140+ million.
This scheme will consist of a large scale public realm style project involving roads, as well as all associated civil works. You will be the lead Senior Planner on site, taking control of the programme for the next 2.5 years.

- Provide and achieve consistent, accurate and reliable programme data.
- Develop planning solutions using Primavera P6.
- Develop fully integrated Project Programmes to measure progress, including critical path analysis.
- Procurement Programmes, Commissioning and Completion Programmes.
- Be able to communicate the planned intent both internally and externally and be able to represent the company in a formal interview setting.
- Review construction drawings/specifications/bills to gain a clear understanding of the project, to establish a robust build sequence to develop the programme solution.
- Review and challenge subcontractor programmes including methods and logistics; compare them to the Project Programmes to ensure they are fully aligned or integrated.
- Accurately measure progress and report against the programme targets.
- Liaise with site teams to carry out in-depth look ahead and forecasting programmes.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you must be a highly motivated and career-minded individual who is seeking an opportunity with a contractor who can provide longevity and career development.
You must be commercially aware and technically proficient in using P6 Primavera Planning software.
It will also be essential that you have experience of NEC Contracts.
Ideally, you will have experience working on large scale infrastructure / civil engineering works, preferably within highways and roads schemes, although all heavy civils will be considered.
You will have proven experience of managing information in an orderly fashion as well as previous experience and an ability to work to tight deadlines. Travel to the site will be required on a weekly basis however this will be commutable to those in south NI or accommodation can be provided.
