Senior Operations Analyst, £16.89 p/h, hybrid / Cardiff, 37 hours p/w, Mon - Fri, 1 day in office, 3 months+

Your new role
Purpose
Leading multi-disciplinary teams in a specific work area in the context of operating in a Professions and Flexible Resourcing model. You will plan, oversee, and deliver a set of work deliverables on time and to a high standard through effective project management and support of multidisciplinary team members. You will also provide inclusive team leadership by supporting team members and demonstrating commitment to organisational values.
• The role may not contain direct line management responsibilities; however, as a Senior Operations Analyst you will be tasked with the day-to-day management of the operation and co-ordination of Operations Analyst tasks.
• Review and make decisions on datasets and subsequent payments across the Delivery and Schemes portfolio of environmental schemes.
• The use of Delegated Authority to make decisions on behalf of the organisation.
• Input into strategic management plans and delivery.
• Continuous improvement and capability building of processes and individuals both in direct and indirect team structures.
Key Outputs and Deliverables
• Manage the day-to-day outputs of the team and yourself.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex and challenging tasks.
• Manage a multi-disciplinary caseload whilst contributing to the wider teams’ objectives.
• Lead on complex and challenging issues, managing risk leading to strong outcomes.

What you'll get in return
This is a temporary role to start ASAP. There is a requirement to be in the Cardiff office 1 day per week, the rest of the week can be worked from home. 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The hourly rate for the role is £16.89 per hour. The role is expected to last until the end of January 2025 with a possible extension. Please note - a DBS check will be completed as part of the onboarding process.
