I am working with an established company based in Stafford who are looking for a qualified Senior Management Accountant to join their finance team.

Your new role

As a Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Preparation of management accounts pack.
• Month end P&L, balance sheet reconciliations.
• Responsible for overhead forecasting and budgeting.
• Support and work with the CFO on long term objectives for the department.
• Identify business opportunities to support growth and reduce costs as necessary.
• Produce 13 week weekly short term cashflow forecasts.
• General ledger maintenance including reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
• Cash book maintenance and bank reconciliations.
• Fixed Asset register.
• VAT Returns
• Businesses partnering with non-financial stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and financial efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Monitoring and reporting on KPIs.
• Supporting the year-end audit process.
• Process improvement to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a CIMA or ACCA qualified accountant with proven experience in a management accounting role, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
