Senior Invoicing Administrator - Carlisle - Salary £30,000 - £32000 per annum

Your new company

Our client, a dynamic and growing Group organisation headquartered in Carlisle, is seeking a dedicated Senior Invoicing Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. This role involves reporting to the Sales Invoicing Manager and collaborating closely with both the Finance and Commercial teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex and high-volume sales invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all invoicing activities. Your new role

Typical duties will include:

Invoicing
  • Processing high-volume and complex sales invoicing, ensuring pricing is accurate
  • Ensuring all transactions are captured and complete
  • Customer purchase orders/references are captured
  • Resolve customer invoice queries, issuing credit notes as required.
Systems Administration
  • Create new customer site records, service agreements (prices), orders and jobs to enable scheduling, routing and accurate billing of work done.
  • Maintain pricing records, ensuring prices are updated to reflect any agreed changes, including assisting with the annual price increase.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues who carry out transaction processing tasks to ensure accuracy of work for invoicing through knowledge and understanding.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a transactional finance background and be able to work with diligence and with high-volume transactions.
Experience in a similar capacity with pricing experience is an advantage.
This role requires someone that can business partner and work closely with the Finance and Commercial teams, maintaining accuracy and an ability to prioritise high volume.
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Good levels of MS Excel and familiarity with in-house systems.
