Your new role

Assist in delivering end-to-end audit activities within Internal Audit, contributing to risk assessments and the annual audit plan. Support timely, high-quality, risk-based audits by leading sections, coordinating planning and execution, and producing clear, accurate documentation on internal controls. Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, monitor business changes to inform audit responses, and track outstanding actions to closure with appropriate evidence or escalation.

Foster positive collaboration across Internal Audit to support departmental objectives and maintain high-quality outputs, including contributing to clear and insightful management reporting and promoting continuous improvement in audit practices and operations. Encourage knowledge sharing and alignment between Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance, and the wider business to help embed a strong risk and control culture across the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience in internal audit roles, ideally within a well-regarded bank, financial institution, or through top-tier assurance work. Big Four experience firms or within UK financial services is highly valued. Strong understanding of the financial services sector and applicable UK regulations.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Financial Services qualification. e.g. CFA, FRM, CIA, CISA.

What you'll get in return

  • £60,000 base salary

  • Hybrid working arrangement – 2/3 days in office (London) per week.
