Your New Role
As Senior HR Advisor (Employee Relations), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our people strategy. Acting as the senior operational expert under the HR Manager, you’ll lead on complex employee relations matters, performance management, absence cases, and staff welfare. You’ll also:
  • Provide strategic and day-to-day HR advice to managers across the organisation on all aspects of employer relations and HR advice.
  • Lead and develop a small HR team, supporting their growth and wellbeing
  • Drive improvements in HR processes and systems
  • Stay ahead of employment law and sector trends, ensuring compliance and best practice
  • Champion initiatives that enhance employee wellbeing and engagement
  • Support the review and enhancement of employee benefits

What You’ll Need to Succeed
We’re looking for a confident and compassionate HR professional who can balance empathy with sound judgement. You will have:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, with strong ER expertise across grievance, disciplinary, investigations, absence, sickness, performance,
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Ideally - Experience managing or mentoring HR team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong decision-making ability in complex and sensitive situations
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools
