Senior Group Systems Accountant - Central Oxford - Upto £65,000

Group Systems Accountant:
Salary - £65,000

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and provide technical expertise for maintaining the Group reporting system (Tagetik), including user access, metadata management, and routine tasks to ensure system alignment with future reporting and accounting needs.
  • Ensure data structures and standards in the Group reporting system are consistent with other finance ERPs, resolving any discrepancies.
  • Analyse and resolve user-reported issues in the Group reporting system, either independently or by coordinating with IT/external consultants.
  • Offer technical support to the Group Accounting and Consolidation Manager and the reporting team.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the Group reporting system.
  • Develop and maintain system output reports for finance processes, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Provide expert advice, guidance, and training to Tagetik users for optimal system use.
  • Represent Finance in key system projects, leading implementation or development efforts as needed.
  • Prepare detailed reports and analyses from the Group reporting system for senior executives and finance teams to support informed decision-making.


Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Tagetik, SAP BPC, SAP FC, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), OneStream, Cognos TM1, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of application creation, dimension properties, data form design, workflow, report creation, smart view, and systems integration.
  • Experience of maintaining the charts of accounts, account mapping, and managing changes.
  • Previous experience in a group accounting role.
  • Full accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Technical and functional experience in developing and maintaining an EPM tool.
  • Familiarity with FRS 102 standards.
