Senior Financial Accountant for a leading global organisation in Epsom

Your new company

You will be working in a dynamic UK Finance Centre of Excellence as a Senior Financial Accountant, reporting directly to the Head of Statutory Reporting. This is a high-impact role offering exposure to senior stakeholders, including the Senior Vice-President Finance UK & Ireland, Business Finance Directors, and Corporate teams in Canada.


Your new role

As a key member of our statutory reporting team, you will lead monthly legal entity reporting into Group Corporate systems (FCCS). In addition, you will also support quarterly reporting to Montreal, contribute to Group financial statements, prepare UK subsidiary financial statements under FRS 101 (18 entities), perform monthly account reconciliations using Blackline, collaborate with internal teams: tax, treasury, company secretarial, internal audit, and business finance, manage relationships with external and internal auditors, contribute to strategic projects including legal entity reorganisation and dividend planning and drive process improvement initiatives across statutory reporting.


What you'll need to succeed

You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with post-qualification experience, a background in external audit and accounting, ideally from a Big Six firm, strong technical skills in IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS 101), have an analytical mindset with a logical approach to problem-solving, you will possess excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, have a proactive, flexible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience with FCCS/HFM and Oracle is a plus.
